Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data NjikoTrade collects, why we collect it, and how we handle it. NjikoTrade is an educational trade-journaling and analytics platform — we do not execute trades or manage funds.

• Account data: email, display name, avatar, and authentication identifiers.
• Trading profile: account type, prop-firm stage, starting/current balance, risk %, lot-sizing mode, and timezone — used to tailor AI grading and lot-size calculations.
• Trade data: setups you log or upload (charts, pairs, entries, SL/TP, notes) and the AI grading results generated for them.
• Credits & wallet: credit balance, credit transactions (scans, unlocks, top-ups, creator rewards), and eligibility metrics.
• Payment metadata: transaction reference, amount, currency, and status. Card and banking details are handled by Paystack and are never stored by NjikoTrade.
• Usage & device data: basic logs (IP, browser, timestamps) used for security, rate-limiting, and debugging.

• To provide and operate the platform (auth, feed, scanning, leaderboard, wallet).
• To generate AI trade analyses tailored to your trading profile.
• To operate the credit economy: deduct credits for scans and unlocks, credit top-ups, and record transactions for your Wallet history.
• To rank traders on public leaderboards using aggregate performance metrics you have generated.
• To secure the service and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal data.

When you run a scan, the chart image and structured trade context (market, pair, timeframe, trade type, and your trading profile fields) are sent to our AI model provider to generate an analysis. Providers process this content under their own terms and do not use your data to train foundation models where such controls are available to us.

Credit top-ups are processed by Paystack. When you pay, you interact with Paystack's checkout and are subject to their Terms and Privacy Policy. We receive a transaction reference and status from Paystack in order to credit your account. We do not receive or store full card numbers, CVVs, or bank credentials.

We share data only with:

• Infrastructure providers hosting the app and database.
• AI model providers used to grade uploaded charts.
• Paystack, to process credit purchases.
• Authorities, if required by law or to protect the safety and rights of users.

Trades you explicitly share to the feed and your public profile (handle, avatar, win rate, ROI, drawdown, follower counts) are visible to other users on the platform.

We keep account and trading data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone. On deletion, we remove your personal data and unshared trades. Anonymized transaction and aggregate metrics may be retained to meet legal, accounting, and abuse-prevention obligations.

Access to your data is protected by database row-level security policies, role-based checks, and an additional PIN gate for admin operations. No system is 100% secure, so we encourage you to use a strong unique password and to protect your login.

You may access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. For requests we can't complete in-app, contact support@njikotrade.app.

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
